Recipe from Bird On A Cake
This is my most requested cake recipe from family and friends. Everyone absolutely loves it, including myself. My two favorite cake recipes I have ever made are this one and the Hershey’s “Perfectly Chocolate” Cake Recipe recipe. I’m thinking it’s the warm water added to the batter that makes both these recipes so moist and amazing.
Oreo Cookies & Cream Cake
Makes two 9″ rounds
I’ve used vanilla and french vanilla pudding
I have also omitted the Oreos for a vanilla cake
I halved this recipe once and used 2 full eggs without a problem.

Super moist, yummy, and light. The frosting included in the recipe on Bird On A Cake’s blog pairs perfectly with the light texture of this cake.
I have made this recipe without the Oreos as a vanilla cake, and it’s amazing. Not as amazing though, since Oreos of course make everything better.
I also made it once without vanilla extract and used lemon zest and juice instead, and it was super yummy as well.
This recipe is definitely a keeper.
