Recipe from The Big Man’s World
Have you ever made a recipe from a blog that came out really good, and then you just keep finding new recipes from that blog? And then you realize the past 4 recipes you made were from there? Whoops.
All of the recipes I’ve made from this blog came out great so far. I love that he uses oat flour in a lot of recipes. I’ve mentioned before that I really hate Paleo flours, but I’m a huge fan of oat flour. I think I found every single recipe on his blog that uses oat flour and I plan to make them all 🙂
Sorry about the missing corner. I’m not sure what happened. I think it somehow baked like that, because I definitely wouldn’t taste something before I could get a picture. Definitely wasn’t me.
Healthy Flourless Cake Batter Blondies
Filled an average sized brownie tin
Substitutions made & specific products I used:
For the 1 cup dairy free milk, I used Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
For the 1 flax egg, I used 1 regular egg
For the 1/2 cup melted nut butter, I used peanut butter
For the 2 Tbsp coconut butter, I didn’t have any so I had to omit it
For the 1-2 scoops vanilla protein powder, I used MyoFusion Probiotic Vanilla

Another amazing recipe. I really loved the texture of these, they weren’t dry or crumbly like a lot of Paleo baked goods are.
For the glaze, I just used the protein powder and almond milk and it worked fine. I bet it’s even better with the coconut butter so I might need to go buy some. I also chose to glaze each individual piece as I eat them, since I was afraid it would make them a little soggy.
Next time, I might try a different nut butter. I really loved the peanut butter, but it gave them a distinct peanut butter taste. Not that that’s ever a bad thing.
I will definitely be making these again!
